MapAlly is an application for tablet devices. It records a person’s travel data and translates it into a graphical postcard in order to organize and archive travel memories, which consist of digital media (photos, video- / sound recordings, notes), log data collected by the build-in sensors (position, time) and updates from Google Calendar and -Weather and possible overlays with friend’s journeys.

The different types of data are symbolized through icons on a fully customizable map in the style of choice. Users can also create their own icons through the internal plug-in drawing tools. The finished maps can be shared online and ordered as real postcards or posters to be sent by snail mail to family and friends.
